My partner found my picture on your site. I am in the field with my first pheasant and my girl Sadie and Rich's boy Willy. We are Caveman's Jack Russell Terriers. Our stock is from JRS Jack Russells and Missy at Unique Patches. We have been breeding and hunting our Jacks for 5 years now. We put our Jacks on chukar this year and they were amazing (of course). Our website is www.jackrussellterriersonline.com if you'd like to check us out more. We currently have a new litter on the ground from our Caveman's Sexy Sadie and Joyce's Quest of JRS. Possibly his last litter. I have 3 girls still available for sale. New pics should post next week. We have gotten several points on birds from our adults in the field and even some water retrieves. Our yearling was stellar in the field last fall and spring, even impressing a professional guide. Do you hunt in your area and are there doves to hunt. We have hunted Blue and Sharp-tailed grouse, pheasants, and chukar with our dogs and would like to expand to doves and quail. Your site is really nice. We are working on making ours better. Thanks for getting the word out about what great hunters and companions these dogs are. Ours go with us everywhere and my girls sleep with me (under the covers). My litters are born and raised in the house and go to work with me each day. They are truly amazing and our lines aren't hyper. Energetic in the field and couch potatoes if we have that kind of a day. Hope to hear from you. Thanks, deb

Deb... ok, I'm only 7 months late on answering this! It's been a busy summer/fall so I owe you an apology! But I thought we connected either on the phone or via email. Regardless, I did include you under my Favorite Breeders section... that is SO awesome that you all are getting water retrieves as well... they are awesome dogs! You might want to consider adding a Hunt Terrier to your clan and see what they can do for tracking! If you are interested, contact me at 719-343-5569 and I will be happy to tell you what I know about this breed! Happy Thanksgiving! Jordie and the JRT/Hunt Crew!

I received your email, thanks for contacting me. I wanted to come take a look at your beautiful babies. I haven't been all over your site yet but will have before I leave. I will be in touch to chat with you about jacks and seeing about adding at least 1 of your to my newly started kennel. I read your email to my husband and the first words out of his mouth were 'ROAD TRIP". And I have never been that far west. LOL So we may be vacationing with you in the future and I know I would want to bring one back with me. I personally don't think I could ever have too many jack russells, they are a complete joy to have around and give you so much love back. I am not as active as I used to be due to health troubles but I can go out with one of mine and take the ball or frisbee and have a blast with out hardly moving more than my arm and laugh muscles. Now back to looking at all of your babies.

Thanks for taking the time to write Phyllis! Remind me where you are? I think I wrote 5 or 6 people last weekend and though I remember writing, my mind is foggy as to where you live.

Yes! I agree with you about this breed! I love them to pieces! If you want to meet me half way, I might consider it depending on where you'd be coming from!

The pups are not at my house right now due to a nasty neighbor and some other issues that we had with their mother... calcium is your friend after whelping... just remember those very important words!!! Chili got eclampsia, which, I must admit... I knew she was going to get... or seriously thought she might. I was right, unfortunately! When you have a tiny female and she has more than about 3 pups, in this case... she had 6!... then the pups will pull the mother's calcium out of her body as well through the milk... well, calcium is one of those electrolytes that you can't live without... and the extreme lack of it is deathly, if you let it get too low. This is why Chili will be spayed and I will not breed her again even though she produces the most beautiful pups around! It's heartbreaking!

I have the little female, Cindy, reserved even though I have listed her for sale on NextDayPets... but I have her listed for $1,200 so hopefully, no one will purchase her... (Watch... someone will be willing and able and make me an offer!!! HA!) But I temporarily have an interest in her so that she may keep these bloodlines going...

Take care! Email me at [email protected] and we'll "chat" more about Russells! Have a great, great day!

Love the pics on the website and it is also very interesting reading. I have 2 jack russels and I luv them one is 11yearsold now and the other 16 months we got the second one because we had a german sheperd with Ellie that is 11 years old and felt she was lonely when Max (the german sheperd) passed. So I am looking for a companion for Eddie to play with as ellie is to old and not real energetic and I think he is annoying to her I live in wisconsin but have friends in colorado so might let ya know if i am in the area

HEY LADY,
I HAVE A NOT SO GREAT COMPUTER MINE IS TOAST. SO FOR RIGHT NOW I CAN AT TIMES USE IT. I AM BETTER. FEELING AGAIN LIKE MYSELF. I KNOW I FELL OFF THE EARTH. IT WAS A NOT AN EXPERIENCE THAT ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO GO THRU. MY DOGS WERE MY LIFE BESIDES MY KIDS. SO LOOSING THE KENNEL WAS A REAL DOWNER. BUT I HAVE LOTS OF THE RETIRED OLD LADIES WHICH MAKES ME HAPPY TO KNOW THEY ARE TAKEN CARE OF. I SEE YOUR CANDY 11 DAUGHTER HAD PROBLEMS. I WAS CONCERNED SHE MIGHT BE TOO SMALL. I HAVE A SMALL MOM TOO. I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOUR VISITS. I AM BACK ON TRACK NOW. FEELING LIKE MYSELF AGAIN. HAD BACK SURGERY BUT WITH GOOD LIKE WILL BE BACK IN MY SADDLE REAL SOON. WHEN ARE YOU COMING TO FLORIDA AGAIN. IF NOT MAYBE I MIGHT BE ABLE TO VISIT AFTER THE WINTER. I SEE YOU HAVE A HAIRY SIRED PUP. I BRED AND RAISED HIM TOO. LOOKING FORWARD TO HEARING FROM YOU. SNOOKS

SNOOKS!!! My buddy... I miss you too... I really need a Snooks-fix, for sure! I don't think we'll be back down to Florida until right before or after Christmas which is way too long for me... so I might be down there before that. We'll just have to hide and watch! Ha!

Yeah... Tawny (Candy II daughter) was just a little small and she wasn't interested at all in taking care of them once she finally got them out, so Murphy took them in without question! She's a real trooper... I hate that she's getting too old to breed... but I am retiring her for sure. She's 6 now and I really didn't want to breed her this last time but God had other plans and now I know why!

I am so happy that you are feeling better. I understand that not having the kennel anymore might just have taken you over the edge and that would be understandable to everyone... so I am happy to hear that you have moved past that and are looking to the bright future with a smile on your face. Will you email me your mailing address? I have something I want to share with you!

Take care Friend! ~Jordie

Hi Jordie, Sorry I didn't get back with you sooner, but the holidays get a little crazy. We are doing good with Gallagher, he does find ingenious ways of escaping from the yard tho. He is a love. Hope your holidays were good. A big kiss from Gallagher to you and your family.

Oh good Charlotte! You all have been on my mind and since I hadn't heard from you, I was going to research your phone number and call you to find out how he is doing. So, I will just say that I am so happy he is being a love and even though he is a stinker when it comes to containing him at times, he is a good boy and I know he is in the right home with you all.

Have a wonderful New Year and I'm sure we will be in touch! Give him a kiss from all of us (that's a lot of kisses, so just smother him for us) and we'll chat again soon!

Hi Jordie,

Well Roxy was 2 years old yesterday.Dec. 8:.it's amazing looking at her mother Murphy how much Roxy looks like her, it was fun to see Roxy on the web site as a puppy, she has become such a big part of our lives! She has a different personality with each of us and knows what she can and can't get away with. For really being Rykers pet Brian has her spoiled rotten. She may need a friend in the near future we have enjoyed her so much I can only imagine another one would be just as fun and would give her a friend.

Happy Holidays:

Cindy... well, you know the saying about Jack Russells, don't you? Jack Russells are like potato chips... you can't have just one! And besides that, I think two are easier than just one since they do bond so well together! Are you thinking about getting a male or another female? Do you want another rough coat or a smoothie? Contact me on my email at [email protected] or call me on my cell at 719-342-7723. Thanks so much and you all have a Merry Christmas as well!

I am writing you about puppies. Our son has an English Jack Russell and we have fallen in love with her. We are an older couple and would love the companionship of a puppy. We doggy sat her for a month and she brought such joy into our lives. My son doesn't have kids yet so I call her my Grand-dogger. He has taught her so much. She has a life jacket and even rides the wake board with him.
We are on a limited income and wondered if you ever have a runt of the litter....one that is small or that can't be used to breed that would be less expensive. We want a little girl puppy. If you don't have a puppy like that, could you possibly direct us to another place to look?
We appreciate any help you might be able to give us. Lucky you....I would love your job!

Verna... thank you SO much for contacting me! I know exactly what you mean about the English jack russells bringing joy into your lives... that is exactly what they do for me! It's so much fun to watch their antics; you can't help but get wrapped up in their love and affection. Please contact me via my email at [email protected] and we will chat about your interest in Tinkerbelle!

WOW! I love your new web-site and seeing how all of your family has grown. I can see where Gallagher is almost starting to "grey" on his head...I have noticed slight changes in Reilly as well with more whitish near his eyes. I'll have to send you some more pictures, we have started back in agility trials and he hasn't missed a beat, I wish I could say the same! HA! LOL
Replied on: 10:05pm 11-19-2009
Hey thanks for your nice comments Colleen! Yes, Gallagher is definitely looking his age but he's still going strong! I love him to pieces! I am happy to hear that Reilly is doing well and continues to excel in agility. You are SUCH a good Russell mom since you keep his mind active and give him lots of things to think about! Russells love to do things that make them think! And please do send more pictures... I always love to see pictures of my "kids". Take care of you and keep smiling!

Thanks Jess... yes, I definitely think Willy needs a new pal! I have a little female out of Tawny that I'm requiring she be spayed since she's so tiny... I named her Tinkerbelle and call her Tink for short (no pun intended!) You might be interested in her!

WOW, great new look and new pups! They are beautiful, but I still think Ryder is the most beautiful...well maybe not so much after he has been to the barn playing and rolling in horse poo.. Murphy really out did herself with him! He has so much personality and loves everyone and everyone loves him! I let everyone who asks know he came all the way from Colorado and Flushing Pheasants Kennel. Wish we didn't live so far away, would love to see him and his big sis Natalie together. He is now almost 2, and only weighs 11 lbs and is 10" at the shoulder.
Thank you so much for letting him come to live with me in the South and being such a wonderful support for me with him.. You're the Best!

I try to send pictures soon.

Hugs and Licks for Ryder!

Aww thanks Sandy! You are most welcome and I am so happy that he is there with you... he couldn't have a better Momma!

Sounds like he ended up being the perfect size... that's what I strive for... sometimes I get one like my Mary... a little on the tall side of life but full of boundless energy, great eye contact and willing to do whatever you want her to do! Other times I get ones like Ryder... great temperament, wonderful and outgoing personality and on the shorter side of life... I just love these little dogs... they provide such warmth, character and love and it's always unconditional.

I always love to see pictures of the pups all grown up! It's so much fun to learn how they've adapted to their world!

Thanks so much again for taking the time to sign into the guestbook! I appreciate it!

Andre,
Thanks... I am fighting with the computer at the present moment... once I figure out how to do it, you'll be able to see all of the new pups! I got so frustrated with it I just shut it down. Maybe next time when I log into it, I will be able to save the whole entire site and not just some of the first page!

Take care...
Jordie
